The auction had a mint Mamiya 16EE De Luxe in original presentation box. The seller took great care to wrap the box in newspaper and added polystyrene chips. The parcel was collected from Parcel Force and a claims form immediately requested. After three months Parcel Force refunded the value of the parcel, which would have been a full refund but for the fall in the US dollar compared to sterling.
The presentation box was crushed and distorted. The camera itself is bent in the middle of the top of the camera, preventing the film advance to work.
