The original seller stated:-
Minox BL *Agentenkamera*Diese Kamera ist als Agentenkamera bekannt. Klein und genau, dafür sorgen schon die Entfernungs-Messkette und der eingebaute Selen Belichtungsmesser (bis 1000' Sekunde).
Ausserdem ist das Lederetui im Original dabei.
Die Kamera ist voll funktionsfähig, weisst aber leichte Gebrauchsspuren auf.
Translation:-
This camera is known as a spy camera. Small and exact, with distance measuring chain and the installed Selenium light meter (to 1000' second).
Also included is the original leather case.
The camera is fully workable, has however light scratches.
The last sentence however means "Light signs of use. These can be but are not exclusively scratches but also brazing, dents, etc" a case of understand the culture not just the words of the language.
The first is the photograph the seller provided and the second is the same photograph lightened up. Not clean, but no signs of damage. The grey cigarette ash marks usually (in fact always) clean up very well. If there are no major scratches the body is normally easy to clean up. BL have a Cds meter and not a Selenium one and the case is for a B or a B style as there was a version for the BL that is clearly 2mm longer and shuts tightly.
Here is what the buyer found:-
The chain is incomplete and turned out to be an over stretched imperial chain and not for a metric camera.
Light scratches are an understatement and the ding clearly was not described. The final price was €326+€15 postage. In normal and clearly very good condition these raise as much as £345, i.e.
50% more.
