The first binocular adapter appeared in 1952 and is not often seen. It has a circular clamp that attaches the camera to the ocular. This was originally packaged with a small cable release clamp (sample wanted).
The screw thread is 3/8" and it has no Minox logo. At least two version of this binocular where made. See Minox Variations in 8x11 by Hubert E. Heckmann page 119, which shows a larger ring an has a cross bar on it above the lens.
