Similar to Rollei 35T, but with battery compartment on top plate and CdS meter with 3 LEDs in view finder. 20-500,B. Made in Singapore between November 1979 until September 1981. Tessar f3.5 40mm. Black or chrome. 330g with chrome and black on brass and 305g with aluminium. Size 97x32x60mm.

The battery was moved from the film chamber to the top of the camera. From June 1980 the diaphragm dial had a switch lock. Serial numbers are engraved in the film chamber starting at 4xx.xxx.xxx.
The later series started at 5xx.xxx.xxx and did not have the lock underneath the ASA settings dial.
The Rollei 35 was delivered with lens cap, leatherette case, hand strap and multi lingual manual.
