When the MDC was released Minox incorporated all the sophisticated improvements of the latest ML. The ML was given a new shutter "making it more reliable than ever".  brochure IX/92. This applies to serial numbers 7171451-7178701, that is, at least 7250 out of the 178700 cameras made.

The other unusual feature of this particular camera is the white labelling of the ISO 25-1600 dial. This has been seen on earlier cameras e.g. 7139701 but 7166141 and 7171319  have the original green and orange DIN/ASA dial.

Because of the general lack of serial number and views of the base of the camera there is no separate information on t he auction and sales price of the later version of the Minox 35ML. See 35ML
