The MB, launched 1985, looks outwardly like the ML, it is, only without the program AE control offering only aperture priority.

In 1990 Minox produced a special edition of 3333 pieces called the MB Touring.

There is an unusual variant with the print "Service Camera". These where loaned to owners whilst their camera was being serviced. The ulterior motive perhaps being for customers to upgrade to the ML or MB; which is not bore out by the production figures.

Other than the absence of the P on the aperture ring and in the viewfinder the camera is identical to the 35 ML.
