The Model IIIA was introduced in 1954 and for the first time offered a standard PC type synch connection. The camera is stamped "Model IIIA Use 16mm film" on the side. The leather is not stamped.

This variation has a brown lizard skin, most likely a recent modification as this covering is not noted in the documentation for Steky and a number of cameras (Rollie 35, Mikroma) have been seen with this leather covering.
